Entrepreneur, Author, Wife, Mom and Motivational speaker
Tuere Dunton-Forbes, a Georgia native, currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her supportive husband, Marcelles, and their spirited daughter, Amari. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Alabama A&M University and a M.Ed. in School Counseling from Florida A&M University. Since 2005, she has served in one of the largest school districts in the Southeast as a Professional School Counselor, driven by her passion for helping others grow and thrive.
Her commitment to health and wellness was shaped by personal loss and lived experience. After losing both of her parents to preventable diseases in 2013 and 2016, and later facing her own health challenges with Lyme disease, Tuere made the intentional decision to steward her health differently. These experiences deepened her purpose—to become both an example and a guide for others seeking to take control of their well-being.
While many are prompted to prioritize their health only after receiving a diagnosis, Tuere believes that small, intentional steps can create lasting change. She is living proof of that belief. In 2016, she became a certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and went on to found her life and wellness coaching brand, Empowher-2-F.I.T., LLC (formerly N360).
As an author, Tuere wrote I Dare You to Live: Reclaim Your Life from the Grips of Strongholds (2021), along with companion resources including a guided journal and affirmation cards. Through her work, she empowers women to lead as the C.E.O. of their lives—helping them reconnect with themselves and align their life and wellness, one intentional commitment at a time.
